A bit about Bryn.
He lives on the edge of the Ashdown Forest where he can frequently be seen walking his dogs or looking for mini-beasts with his daughters. When he isn’t outdoors he is kept busy as an Inspector for the Learning Outside the Classroom Quality Badge scheme (including AHOEC GOLD) and is an active member of the Southern Region Institute for Outdoor Learning
Experience.
Bryn has had a varied career which include 9 years management experience in a large activity centre, lecturing in Outdoor Activities at a FE college as well as voluntary work on bodies such as BSI8848 and the Adventurous Activities Industry Advisory Committee, a freestanding UK wide technical reference group whose roles include maintaining and improving health & safety standards in the industry. He has led schools expeditions throughout Central America and Africa including Zimbabwe, Zambia and Tanzania.

- Mountain Leader Award and Single Pitch Award
- Level 3 Kayak Coach
- Accredited Practitioner for the Institute of Outdoor Learning
