Set in the heart of Snowdonia’s national park in North Wales the Yr Hafod centre is ideally placed to make use of this country’s mountainous and rocky landscapes.

Accommodation
The centre accommodation consists of 32 bunks in 4 rooms (1 x 4 beds, 2 x 8 beds and 1 x 12 beds). Visitors can also sleep on purpose built seating in the lounge making space for a total of 35. Other accommodation consists of a dining room, lounge, fully equipped kitchen, drying room and two washroom/shower areas.
Kitchen facilities include a range style cooker, two fridges, a freezer, a full range of cooking utensils, and sufficient crockery and cutlery for a full house.
Equipment
We provide all necessary equipment for activities and in addition water proofs, day sacs, water bottles and boots for your students although we do advise students to bring their own boots for comforts sake.
Food
Catering is taken care of by our staff although we actively ask for student’s participation where appropriate in cooking and involve them in meal duties that consist of laying tables clearing away and washing up. Specific dietary requirements can be catered for as long as we have notice of this at time of booking. Lunch is generally a packed lunch that is made by the student’s for themselves each morning albeit supervised by staff.

A payphone is provided; the telephone number is 01248 601 641. There is no code for the WiFi, however you may need to search for “Hafod” under your advanced settings as its SSID may be hidden. Please note that due to the remote location of Yr Hafod, internet access cannot be guaranteed.
