As a Duke of Edinburgh Approved Activity Provider (AAP) we can help schools and youth organisations to run their Bronze, Silver and Gold level Expeditions. We can offer support ranging from advice and training through to full delivery of a practice and qualifying expedition. By assessing your needs we aim to compliment your skills and competencies while providing all the support need to ensure a high quality, successful and safe expedition.
HIGH QUALITY
At E3Adventures we believe that the quality of the training participants receive directly impacts upon both the successful achievement of the award, and associated learning outcomes, but more importantly has a direct link with running a safe expedition. All our staff are fully qualified expedition leaders who are used to training and supervising groups outdoors. E3Adventures can provide either long term training over a period of months or shorter pre-expedition consolidation training. All of our training is centred around the DofE Expedition Training Framework and includes navigation and camp craft skills as part of the syllabus.
SUCCESSFUL
Completing the expedition and achieving the award are obviously integral to a successful expedition, but alongside that we believe that a DofE expedition offers unparalleled opportunity for meeting a range of high quality social and personal learning outcomes. To this end all of our training and assessment packages include a focus mentoring the participants through a wider learning journey.
SAFE
Our safety management systems at E3Adventures start with the quality of our staff and the training we give, through to the route planning and implementation of the remote supervision. In support this we give all groups a fully equipped first aid kit and mobile phone
