We are excited you are interested in booking an adventure with us. If you have not already had a phone / email / zoom conversation with us please do, it is always good to talk, or you can make an enquiry on our Residential Enquiry Form. After some discussions so we understand your needs we start the planning process. Where possible we would love to come and talk with you face to face ( or you can come and visit us ). Either way it is a lot easier to talk and work out all the details over a cup of tea and a biscuit.
2. Deposit
Based on discussions to date we will invoice you for 20% of the expected total. Your booking is not confirmed until payment of the deposit.
3. Planning and Organising
We will work with you to put together a programme of activities that meet your learning outcomes.
To help you with your planning and trips approval all our information including insurance / risk assessments are available on this website, you can also download the information you will need to give to parents such as our Handbook with Kit-list, and if you want we can come into school and give a presentation to parents and pupils.
About 4-6 weeks before your Residential Adventure we will ask you to supply us with the information we need to complete the planning process, this will include:
- Any Medical information we need in advance to help keep you and your group safe.
- Any Dietary information we need to cater for you, including Halal / Vegan / Lactose intolerance / allergies etc
- Confirmed numbers of pupils and staff
- Tent Plan ( please split your pupils into ‘Tent Groups’ of approximately 8 and tell us how many tents you need for Boys / Girls. Please tell us how many tents you need for Staff )
4. Dietary / Medical & Tent Plan
One month before your adventure we will ask you to confirm numbers, and dietary information we need to know and to talk with us about how many tents you need and arrangements for them ( some schools want to put boys on a different side of the field from the girls). Just before the day we will set up a WhatsApp group for all staff so we can share any last minute details and ensure that any important information is available to everyone that needs it.
